Secure a classic piece of Japanese watchmaking history with this Seiko Lord Quartz. Originating from the late 1970s JDM (Japan Domestic Market) catalog, the Lord Quartz line represented Seiko’s high-end precision engineering of the era. It features a beautifully textured dial layout showcasing an intricate diamond-wave pattern, framed by a sharp, angular integrated-style case design and a useful Kanji/English day-date complication.
Condition Notes (Vintage Pre-Owned Condition):
- Case & Material: The stainless steel case shows honest vintage character, with a network of fine surface hairlines and minor scuffs from decades of use, retaining its original sharp case lines.
- Dial & Glass: The rare textured dial exhibits age-related vintage discoloration/patina that shifts under the light. Fitted with a clean aftermarket replacement plastic acrylic crystal.
- Bracelet Sizing: Comes mounted on a period-correct aftermarket stainless steel multi-link bracelet that fits the aesthetic perfectly and comfortably accommodates up to an approx. 19cm wrist.
- Functions: Fully tested and operating beautifully. The high-grade vintage Seiko 7853 quartz movement keeps accurate time, with the quickset day/date function working flawlessly.
